Happy New Year!

Hi everyone,

I have been pretty busy and to tell the truth I forgot to check in with you all. Well it is a new year and I am back with a new attitude and I am ready to share my experiences with you.

I am currently funemployed to put it in Spongebob terms. I am teaching my 3 and 5 year old to read and do math in my home. I have also signed up for classes in computer science for the spring and am awaiting my financing for that.

Lets talk about the homeschooling for a minute. I am using an older book called Teach Your Child To Read in 100 Easy Lessons. It is a wonderful resource and it spells out everything you need to do and even what to say. I got the book at

Thrift Books which is a wonderful site to get thousands of books for half price or less. Please click the link to help me keep this going. I am so excited that my children will have reading proficiency by the middle of the year! No school program can do this and I refuse to subject my children to government indoctrination anyway.

Thats it for now, I will be back soon to let you all know how everything is going. Live free and viva la revolution!
